Bitstamp and Dukascopy Team up to Offer Bitcoin Transactions

Luxembourg based bitcoin exchange company Bitstamp announced a new partnership with Swiss bank Dukascopy to provide crypto funding and exchange on their platform, according to a press release published by the exchange.

“Dukascopy’s clients can now send bitcoins to their accounts, and the crypto will be converted to US Dollars, which they can use to trade on the Swiss FX Marketplace,” says the note.

Clients can also withdraw funds back to their cryptocurrency wallets in the form of bitcoins. Bitstamp will serve the needs of Dukascopy in exchanging fiat funds to bitcoins and back.

The Bitstamp team also affirmed that the new partnership represents a new step to fill the gap between cryptos and traditional finance. “It is further proof that our efforts in compliance and regulation continue to deliver results at a time of rapid maturation for the cryptocurrency industry.”

Dukascopy is also known for offering foreign exchange services.
