Switzerland based Blockchain developer Lite.IM announced it is launching a new feature that allows traders to exchange and manage Bitcoin in social media engines like Facebook Messenger, Telegram or SMS. According to a post published in the Medium account of the company, the Lite.IM project has made another step in its vision to bring Cryptocurrencies access to the world via SMS and instant messaging. From now onwards, Bitcoin can be traded in the social media channels supported by Lite.IM, BTC is the new member of Cryptocurrencies allowed by the company, including Litecoin (LTC), Ether (ETH), and ZTX that were added earlier this year. "We are proud to be bringing the world’s most popular Cryptocurrency to the combined 2.5 billion users of Facebook and Telegram, not to mention all those who lack dependable internet access that can now manage Bitcoin via SMS messaging," the post said. Lite.IM plans are beyond including Bitcoin in social media; the project has "a ton of new features coming in the near future, including support for new apps and currencies, not to mention a completely new direction for the brand." The Lite.IM solution includes communication with a chatbot that can accept or send digital assets on users and company behalf. It also provides real-time balances and transaction history. The platform offers top security keys and anonymity and private features. "Lite.IM keeps your private data private. We never store your chat records, and even shield third parties like Facebook from your most sensitive data with a secure password form," the post highlights. "No matter which app or currency you use Lite.IM with, your private keys are secured with advanced RSA encryption, which means nobody but you will ever have access to your funds."
