Last week, Changelly rolled out a new fixed-rate exchange mechanism which means that users are guaranteed the fee they are promised when initialising an exchange. The new option will eliminate the risk of fast-changing exchange rates that can be quite significant when you are trading certain highly volatile tokens. Thus, protecting the traders on Changelly from fluctuations that can result in you ending up with lower values of cryptocurrency arriving in your wallet after an exchange has been completed. While the option was already available on their mobile app, this will see a roll-out on the website now too. This will stay the same for 30 seconds when you can choose whether or not to accept the rate. After 30 seconds this rate will then refresh and change and then you can alternatively choose that one. If you choose it, then you will be processed to the next stage of the exchange where you will have that rate available to you for 15 minutes. An apt amount of time whereby you can complete your exchange. As such, you know what you are getting every step of the way from the moment you accept the amount to the completion of the transaction. There will be a small reserve amount included in the exchange rate though which will be used to ensure the rate. The platform described the option as “undoubtedly keeping up with Changelly’s values” in that it provides “instant, secure and customer-centric service.” Speaking ahead of the launch of this new fixed-rate mechanism is Changelly’s CEO, Eric Benz, explained, “Changelly has always delivered best in class service, and this is a sentiment to the quality of products we provide.
