Crypto Asset Custody for Institutions Coinbase Custody has now added support for Tezos, XTZ. From now own, company clients will be able to store XTZ according to a blog post published by Coinbase. In the next weeks, Coinbase Custody will add governance support for makerDao, the Maker protocol, MKR. Coinbase Custody offers regulated and trustable crypto assets storage services for institutions. "That approach has helped us scale to more than 60 clients and $600 million in assets under custody. Tezos' support through Coinbase Custody works to offer a way for institutional participants to prefer an offline custodian to take an active role in the network. Kathleen Breitman, co-founder of Tezos highlights that “achieving our mission of creating a ‘digital commonwealth’ means facilitating participation for all, and that includes the institutional customers that Coinbase Custody brings to the space.”
