The cryptocurrency exchange ChangeNow has reported on the recent Emerald Mine exit scam, the EOS based cryptocurrency, EMD, who may have committed a large exit scam on their users. They have potentially stolen 787,000 USDT and 490,000 EOS plus other coins worth approximately $2.5 million dollar. All of these funds have allegedly been stolen from the users of Emerald Mine. The alleged exit scammers tried to sell a large sum of their EOS on the ChangeNow platform, a total of 135,020 EOS worth almost $380,000. The ChangeNow risk management system flagged the sum as suspicious and put the tokens into cold storage until they get an official response from their local law enforcement. This may allow them the opportunity to return the almost $400,000 of user funds back to the original users.
